* ACRYSIL: Board has approved a 1-for-2 bonus issue of shares.

* AMARA RAJA BATTERIES: Plans to set up a new four-wheeler battery manufacturing plant at an investment of 140 mln rupees.

* BAJAJ HINDUSTHAN: Reported net loss of 765.10 mln rupees for Apr-Jun. Net sales for the quarter were up 26% year on year at 13.30 bln rupees.

* BOMBAY DYEING: Plans to enter the e-commerce space to sell its bed and bath products.

* FORTIS HEALTHCARE (INDIA): Reported a consolidated net loss of 604.2 mln rupees for Apr-Jun, against a net profit of 160.1 mln rupees year ago.

* GAIL (INDIA): Is eyeing stake in Russia's planned 10-mln-tn liquefied natural gas plant at Vladivostok.

* GVK POWER & INFRASTRUCTURE: Is abandoning a project to develop a special economic zone in Tamil Nadu, and has also deferred work on a port venture in Gujarat due to change in tax regime and economic slowdown.

* HINDUSTAN COPPER: Net profit declined 20.5% on year in Apr-Jun to 480.10 mln rupees, while net sales increased 16% on year to 3.13 bln rupees.

* IDFC: Apr-Jun net profit rose 21.1% on year to 3.79 bln rupees. Net interest income for the quarter grew 30.0% on year to 6.29 bln rupees.

* JAIN IRRIGATION SYSTEMS: Reported net loss of 169 mln rupees in Apr-Jun compared with 823.5 mln rupees profit year ago. Net sales declined 9% to 8.44 bln rupees.

* LANCO INFRATECH: Hopes to clinch one major stake divestment deal by December or March 2013.

* MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA: Plans to invest 4.5 bln rupees this year in its tractor business and launch about 10 models in the next two years.

* OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORP: And partner BHARAT PETROLEUM CORP have found hydrocarbons in an on-land block in the Cauvery Basin in Tamil Nadu.

* ORCHID CHEMICALS & PHARMACEUTICALS: Reported a net loss of 508 mln rupees for Apr-Jun compared with a net profit of 155.4 mln rupees a year ago.

* PFIZER: Competition Commission of India has approved the acquisition of Pfizer's global nutrition business by Nestle.

* PIRAMAL HEALTHCARE: Apr-Jun net profit declined 95% on year to 41 mln rupees, even though net sales increased 63% to 7.1 bln rupees.

* RAMKY INFRASTRUCTURE: To divest part of its stake in the special purpose vehicle Gwalior Bypass Projects to partner Era Infrastructure.

* RELIANCE INDUSTRIES: Is in talks to acquire BP's petrochemicals plant in Malaysia. The company has proposed to drill exploration well in D6 block of Krishna Godavari basin at its own cost.

* SHREE RENUKA SUGARS: Apr-Jun net profit declined 71.8% on year to 133 mln rupees. Net sales grew 22.9% to 14.84 bln rupees.

* STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA: Is close to acquiring coal blocks abroad as part of the International Coal Ventures consortium plan.

* TATA GLOBAL BEVERAGES: Its Canadian arm has entered into agreement with Kraft Food's brand Tassimo to produce, market, and sell Tetley Tea T-Discs for the latter in that country.

* TATA STEEL: Is taking all possible steps to improve its European operations but has no immediate plans to shut down its manufacturing units.

* UNION BANK OF INDIA: Has raised $350 mln through five-year bonds.

* UNITECH: Apr-Jun standalone net profit slumps 71% on year to 317.6 mln rupees. Income from operations declined to 4.07 bln rupees from 6.15 bln rupees a year ago.
