Favorable wind blowing on China

Economic growth has strengthened since last summer and the Chinese authorities are standing firmly behind structural reforms. Following its third Plenum in mid-November, the Communist Party released a blueprint announcing a vast reform program for the ten coming years. The reforms, if effectively implemented, should help improve the allocation of production factors in the Chinese economy and change its growth model.
