Dear friends and colleagues,

Greetings from the GEF.

Please see below our notification sent to the GEF NGO Network and other civil society organizations in the Pacific region concerning the upcoming Extended Constituency Workshop to be held on July 10-12, 2012 in Nadi, Fiji.

1 member of civil society will be invited per country: Cook Islands, Fiji, Indonesia, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Timor Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu

I kindly ask you to please distribute this invitation to the civil society networks in your respective countries and the organizations representing civil society encouraging them to apply.  The GEF will consider more applications from Fiji and other applicants that do not request any funding or only require partial support.

These workshops are a great opportunity for civil society organizations to interact with other colleagues and learn first hand about GEF strategies and programs. For this reason I encourage you to please promote then to apply to participate.
