The Renaissance City Choirs of Pittsburgh has graciously offered to present a show to benefit the Washington County Gay Straight Alliance, Inc. on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Olin Fine Arts Center, 285 E. Wheeling Street, Washington, PA.  The show is “Cabaret: So You Think You’re a Diva?” It is a program of favorite hit songs made famous by performers such as Barbra Streisand, Peggy Lee, Edith Piaf, Karen Carpenter, Doris Day, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Liza Minnelli, Florence and the Machine, Mika, Chaka Kahn, the Beatles, ‘N Sync, One Direction, and Queen. 

 

The WCGSA has facilitated a peer group for LGBTQA youth, ages 21 and under, and provided resources since November, 2005. On August 29, 2012, we took the next step by forming a Nonprofit Corporation so that we may expand programming and services. Our long- term goal is to establish a welcoming Community Center in Washington, Pa.
