Seeking a supportive family:
I am a local coordinator for CIEE, a high school exchange program. I have been placing students in the Pittsburgh area for over 5 years and have placed many students with gay or lesbian couples. It has been a great experience for these kids and couples both! This time, however, I've been asked to find a home for a gay student. There is a 16 year old boy from Spain who would like to come to the US for a year of exchange next fall. He will be arriving in August and staying until June. His parents want to try to make sure he will be in a supportive environment during his stay. (This means both the host family and school would be accepting.) I would like very much to be able to help this young man, and am seeking any family who might be interested. You don't HAVE to be gay to apply but it could be a great fit! :) (Also happy to place straight students with anyone who is interested!) Thanks very much!
