I'd suggest checking out retailers that sell around $40 average like
eyebuydirect or Glasses Shop if you're noticing a quality difference. To answer
your abbe value question specifically, 42 is an average abbe value for 1.6+
lenses, so I think they're telling the truth with regards to that. ...

need help interpreting my prescription: 2 PD numbers
eyebuydirect lets you enter the two separate PD numbers right on their order
form. I'm not sure about other sites, but many have an area for comments where
you can let them know. Just say "I have separate pd's. R: 31.5, L: 32.5". For
the ADD, you don't need that number unless you're ordering bifocals /
progressives ...

Need help diagnosing prescription problem
I ended up getting two pair of glasses from eyebuydirect. They look good, but I'
m having an issue with the lenses. I talked with EBD chat support (always nice)
and they seem willing to do a return for replacement, but the person I chatted
with wasn't really able to tell me what might be wrong. ...
