Hi Phil,
That's a good idea. I'll work on a post that you and others can comment
on... sounds more like a homework assignment than a true blog
carnival... but in this case, I guess that's okay.
Out of curiosity, is anyone on this list already planning their own
(non-comment) submission to the giving carnival question I posted?

The way this could work is that you post a "state of the field" piece and others comment on it. That is the only way I personally would have anything of value to add. You are really in the position of having to educate most of us on this emerging field.
