Attackers Slash Man Who Thinks He’s Jesus

SAN DIEGO — Police are searching Friday for three males who attacked a 51-year-old homeless man in the San Ysidro area with a box cutter, slashing him on the head and face before they fled on foot, authorities said.

“The suspects were upset because the transient believes he is ‘Jesus Christ’,” Nemetz said, adding that the trio began to harass the victim, who then rose to defend himself.
