Just wanted to let everyone know that I've release an alpha of my maven-jgitflow-plugin.

It replaces the maven-release-plugin enabling git-flow style releases.

It currently has goals for:
  • release-start
  • release-finish
  • hotfix-start
  • hotfix-finish

Awesome will check it out.  We were planning on doing a hack-day the other day about jgit/jgitflow but I ended up having reservations about what kind of workflows would be viable, but just starting with release/hotfix start/finish looks good.

Question - do you branch/tag/merge at the same locations as nvie's original gitflow, or the -avh branch, which I believe is subtly, and slightly different ( but did cause me some merge-oddities finishing a release branch made with one that was started with the other ).

I use the locations from the original git-flow, not the -avh edition
