Hi!

Just a quick note to tell the world about Kipling, which uses GitRuby.
Kipling is a Scrum/XP-oriented ticket tracker (ticket are called
cards). Kipling differs from most other trackers:

* Kipling display cards in a grid-like view similar to a Scrum task
board (http://tinyurl.com/yozz6c) or Kanban board (http://tinyurl.com/
2ks2j8) -
* Kipling can display a grid from the past (not useful maybe, but it
can)
* Kipling can generate burn-up and burn-down charts (http://
tinyurl.com/3ynbnz)
* Kipling is command-line based

I'll probably add support for synching with web based issue/ticket
trackers such as Lighthouse, Jira, Trac etc.
Kipling eats its own dogfood - all planned features and their status
are stored in Kipling's own Git repo.

I'm also working on a simple web interface for Kipling (based on
Camping), which would have the Scrum/XP like features (wall, burndown)
that other trackers don't have.

Scott just pointed me to his TicGit project which also uses Git to
store tickets. I'm considering adopting TicGit's convention to store
tickets (cards) in directories, which would make it easier to add
comments (a file is a comment) and attachments (just a file in the
directory).

You can find Kipling here: http://gitorious.org/projects/kipling

Cheers,
Aslak
