Guide to Claiming Your Prizes for the Google Highly Open Participation Contest

In order to claim your prizes for GHOP, you will need to both submit your claim for prizes online and turn in your parental consent form (where applicable).  You must complete turn in all items necessary to claim your prizes no later than 08:00 UTC on Friday, 29 February 2008.  

Google will begin sending out prizes on Friday, 29 February.  You will receive an email with tracking information for your prize shipment.  

Submitting Your Parental Consent Form

Parental consent forms (download form - PDF) are required from all contestants who were not at the legal age of majority in their home country as of 27 November 2007.  If you are not sure if you were at the legal age of majority (i.e. legally an adult), please consult this page for more details.  

To submit your parental consent form, you may either:

• Fax a completed copy to +1.650.214.8031
• Scan and email a completed copy to lhospo at gmail dot com

Submitting Your Claim for Prizes Online

All contestants must submit a claim for their prizes online regardless of whether they must turn in a parental consent form.  To submit your online prize claim,

• Sign into the Google Account you used when claiming tasks for the contest
• Vist the online prize claim form
• Enter all required information, then click submit

You can edit your form at any time before the 8:00 UTC Friday, 29 February 2008 deadline by repeating the steps listed above.   

You are welcome to input your phone number in any format you wish, but it is mandatory that you input your country code.  In other words, all of the following would be acceptable formats:
