Hi,

If you're interested, please check out my local copy of gcc at
http://www.cs.virginia.edu/~wh5a/personal/ggx/gcc-4.3.0/

You need darcs-2 to get my repository. Or you can simply take a look
with a web browser. The change history is readable at
http://www.cs.virginia.edu/~wh5a/personal/ggx/gcc-4.3.0/_darcs/hashed_inventory

Note that I'm just learning gcc, so my code and comments can be
totally wrong.
