Subject: SEA OTTER just south of Pacifica
SEA OTTER!

I saw it close to shore off of McNee Ranch State Park, just south of
Pacifica, which according to the maps seems to be in the GGNRA
legislative boundary--please correct me if I'm wrong on this one.
This is the Gray Whale Cove trail that connects to the Montara
Mountain trail system.

The good news is that it was quickly swimming north .  Maybe it will
show up off Mori Point or the headlands tomorrow or even tonight.  It
was cracking open stuff on its chest and gulls were diving after the
scraps.

Good Luck,

Andy Kleinhesselink
