Peter Anaman
KEYNOTE SPEAKER Peter Anaman is the Online Piracy Sr. Program Manager for Microsoft's IP Crimes Unit. Mr. Anaman is responsible for developing and executing global online and cloud piracy strategy with a focus on enforcement tactics across all Internet protocols. Before joining Microsoft in 2008, Mr. Anaman served as Sr. Internet Investigations Manager at the London Office of Covington & Burling. While at Covington, Mr. Anaman provided support for anti-piracy programs for Microsoft and other clients in various industries. Mr. Anaman's expertise includes: investigating fraudulent internet activity, such as; online piracy, phishing, botnets, advance fee fraud, and virus/malware distribution. Mr. Anaman provides cyber-crime training to law enforcement agencies in numerous international jurisdictions and has assisted investigations into organized crime. Mr. Anaman was the recipient of 2005 World Leaders IP award in the category of "Best Achievement in Protecting IP on the Internet."

Kristina Montanaro
PANEL MODERATOR Kristina Montanaro serves as Associate Counsel and Director of Special Programs for The International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition (IACC), in Washington, DC. In that capacity, she provides legal advice to the organization and oversees all aspects of the IACC's Payment Processor Initiative, which aims to facilitate the termination of merchant accounts used for trafficking in counterfeit goods, and has collaborated with several payment processors, rights-holders' organizations, and the White House in developing industry best practices for such initiatives. In addition to those duties, Ms. Montanaro also participates in law enforcement training events, oversees the development of public service announcements, and assists in the preparation of the organization's annual Special 301 submission to the U.S. Trade Representative.
Ms. Montanaro holds degrees from The George Washington University Law School (LL.M., Intellectual Property Law, 2011), Vanderbilt University Law School (J.D., 2010), and College of Charleston (B.A., Political Science, 2007). Prior to joining the IACC, she interned with the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Gucci America, and Dolce & Gabbana USA. Ms. Montanaro served as Executive Authorities Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and authored "'Shelter Chic': Can the U.S. Government Make It Work?," a Note discussing government donations of seized counterfeit goods and published by the same journal.
