Hi,

connected first time and it found my printer, and printed the 'your printer' test message, but immediatly after Red led is constant and the http://printer.gofreerange.com/my-printer page says Sorry, I haven't seen any printers connect from near you.

Any ideas what to do next?  On reset the red blinks twice then comes on again constant

Thanks,
Scott

Two flashes of the LED means a problem initialising the SD card:

This can sometimes happen (the SD functionality in the Arduino can be... delicate), and the best way of fixing it is to simply reformat the SD card in your computer, with a fresh FAT filesystem.

Hope that helps,

- James

We had a similar thing on a printer we had connected hundreds of times before - we had to reset the router and then it worked fine (I know this is a very basic answer and the problem maybe something else - but worth a try)
