Newport Way Trail ribbon cutting 10/21 2pm

There will be a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of the newly
created multi-use trail along the north side of Newport Way from
SR-900 west to Oakcrest Drive NW.

The ceremony will be held at Oakcrest Drive on Wednesday 10/21
starting at 2pm. Come join the mayor in inaugurating this new bike/ped
trail.

Note that there's no car parking along Newport, so it's probably best
to park at the transit center and walk or bike up to Oakcrest (if
you're not walking or biking from wherever you'll be before the
ceremony :-)
