Don't forget our meeting this Wednesday night! We'll talk with Rory about
Complete Streets and roundabouts and traffic signals and sidewalks and
whatever else comes up. And we'll take a few minutes to talk about GAIT

Sorry about the short notice....
At 6 p.m. TONIGHT, Feb. 3., the city will host an open house to discuss
design and objective options for the reconstruction of Newport Way. The open
house will be held at the KCLS Service Center at 960 Newport Way N.W. behind
Target.

The most recent in the city's series of sustainability movie nights is this
week's *Addicted to Plastic*, showing Tuesday night *11/10 at 6:30* at the
KCLS service center on Newport Way just behind Target.
Not directly transportation related, but I'll be there before the show
talking to folks about GAIT. Stop by and say hi if you're able to come.

Newport Way Trail ribbon cutting 10/21 2pm

There will be a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of the newly
created multi-use trail along the north side of Newport Way from
SR-900 west to Oakcrest Drive NW.
The ceremony will be held at Oakcrest Drive on Wednesday 10/21
starting at 2pm. Come join the mayor in inaugurating this new bike/ped

Howdy folks,
This Saturday morning (10/10) at 10am, Bob Miller will be leading his
famous Bridges of Issaquah ride starting from the east parking lot of
the community center. This is an easy amble around Issaquah suitable
for any road-ready cyclist. Ride leaves promptly at 10, so come a few
minutes early.

Here's more info about the bike and pedestrian counts coming up this week.
Counts will be conducted Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at multiple

number of people riding bikes around the state so they can track
trends and have accurate info about how many riders are out there.
