Question on Issue 274 "Free Shipping Bug"
|
| |
I wanted to ping the list to see if anyone else is experiencing the free shipping bug. I have a client who would really like it to be fixed, when I last dug into it I thought I had a fix, but instead I turned a sporadic free shipping into 100% free shipping. So if anyone out there has thoughts or ideas on how to clean this up I'd... more »

getpaid.virtualmerchant
|
| |
Hi all,
A week-or-so back I implemented getpaid.virtualmerchant[1], a
synchronous payment processor for the VirtualMerchant[2] payment site.
Virtual Merchant supports a whole bunch of cool features but I've just
implemented the standard authorize transaction (no refund - don't think
it supports this anyway). Unfortunately the client currently won't be... more »

A web ontology for the ecommerce
|
| |
I would like to report "GoodRelations", a standardized and free
vocabulary/ontology for product, price, and company data.
I hope it could be of some interest to the GetPaid community:

And here you can find some import/export plugins for some cms/ecommerce... more »

Currency Configuration

Hey guys
I have been working on getting the currency configuration working on GetPaid
(

As some of you know (well those of you who were at PloneConf2009 anyway)
this has been a thorn in my side for a while now. I am glad to say that I... more »

The future of GetPaid?
|
| |
Hi,
I participated the GetPaid sprint in Budapest. There were some worries
among the participants for which I have ginve thoughts afterwards.
Many people would love to use GetPaid for creating shops, but it won't
do it.
Currently there are huge gaps within the code (payment processors,
taxes, variant items, architecture limitations) which are necessities... more »

Reviewed Brandon's work: some suggestions
|
| |
Hi,
I just went through Brandon's work. Looks nice to me, though there are
some show stopping issues.
The offsite payment processor interface was empty. It is very
difficult for third parties to implement payment processor unless
interfaces are documented with the required precision.
If I read the core correctly there can be just one on-site payment... more »

pcommerce.core
|
| |
Hi, I see it was recently released a new product for commerce in Plone, pcommerce.core . Has anyone taken a look in the code? I saw there is a functionality for product variation, something there should also exist in getpaid. Maybe we could use some ideas from there? Rafael

Alternative Session Implementation
|
| |
Hi all, I had been joining the GetPaid sprint at the Plone conference in Budapest for one day and we shortly discussed the session implementation. If I see it correctly the problems of ticket 209 are resolved (except of broken ZODBs maybe). We could not come up with a completely sessionless cart implementation, I... more »
