Hi Everyone -
I hope you all are well. I'm writing to tell you about Camp's upcoming Tribute Benefit and Silent Auction on March 8th at The National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia. The gala promises to be an incredible event. To make it affordable and to encourage younger people to attend, tickets for people under 35 are $75 per person which includes dinner and an open bar.
In this rough economy, Camp has been losing campers and attending this event would be the incredible show of the support that Camp needs.
The flyer for the event is attached. Please strongly consider doing the following:
- PURCHASE TICKETS AND ATTEND THE EVENT
-OBTAIN AD JOURNAL PLACEMENTS
-SECURE SILENT AUCTION ITEMS
I am hoping you can turn to your employers and your families and help obtain ad placements and auction items. If you know of anyone who would purchase an ad journal or offer silent auction items (ex: restaurant gift certificates, sports tickets, spa treatments - or anything else you can think of) please let me know. I will be passing all info to Josh Romirowsky who is on the board and doing an incredible job with this event.
Ramah has given us all so much to be thankful for. Although we don't all get to see each other as often as we'd like, we know that the friendships Camp has given us withstand all time and distance - through the good and the bad. I see pictures of all the simchas going on in our lives, and we are lucky to have Ramah friends by our sides. We need to pay it forward.
Again, please seriously consider participating in this event in some way. I hope to hear back from everyone and that we can have a big representation of Gesher 2000.
*info on how to purchase tickets will follow - for now mark your calendars!!!
Thanks soooo much!
