Folks,
I've just heard that there is confusion today on trash pickup. The
McCullough driver said that very few people have their trash cans out
this morning, probably thinking that because of the July 4th weekend,
pickup is delayed a day. But because the holiday did not fall during
the week, they are picking up on the regular schedule all this week.... more »

The full Village Board voted tonight to continue the suspension of
Google Message Posting indefinitely. Further information will be
provided later.

A Village Board ad hoc committee has been appointed by the Mayor to
consider options for future operation of this discussion area.
We already know from postings that some users want this site to
continue operating as a "wide-open" forum on political issues.

Temporary Suspension of Google Message Posting

Tonight the Village Board discussed the purpose and use of this Google
discussion site. An ad hoc committee has been appointed to study this
further, and make decisions about the future of the site. In the
meantime, the posting of messages has been suspended.

If you didn't come to the meeting tonight after complaining online,
then shame on you! AND you missed a barn burner! The board said some
comments were too negative and personal and that people aren't signing
their names to some of these comments. Because of this a committee was
set up to figure out a different way of handling the messages.... more »

We need a whole board filled with trustees that share Clark's feelings. We need to have a choice on each trustee who runs for election. If it hadn't been for "Mouses" posting on Google Group how are we suppose to be notified of meeting changes? Was the meeting changed because 1 Trustee had a conflict? Why is it so important that this person is in attendance? Bill

Change in Board Meeting Day

I just found out that the board meeting has been changed from Thurs to
Wed this week, due to a schedule conflict for one of the trustees.
Keep this in mind if you planned on attending.
