A Village Board ad hoc committee has been appointed by the Mayor to
consider options for future operation of this discussion area.
We already know from postings that some users want this site to
continue operating as a "wide-open" forum on political issues.
Based on other direct input I've received, there are at least some
other users that would prefer the system to return to the way it
operated in 2007 and 2008, with mutually respectful communications,
and discussion focused on public service information.
If you are a current member of this Google Group, and would like to
see it continue to operate with changes that would result in more
decorum, please send a personal email to me directly at
The_Qui...@pobox.com. Feel free to comment on what you like and
dislike about the system, and what direction you would like it to go.
These individual emails will not be put into the public record. I
will summarize the response statistics and content for the other
committee members.
