Looking for participants for Innovative Panel/Roundtable 
  Dear Colleagues (apologies for cross-posting): The submission date for the 2014 ISA is coming up fast, and I had an idea for an Innovative Panel (do I have to capitalize that?) in the form of a roundtable role-playing scenario. Some of you might remember the Fred Friendly seminars that aired on PBS some time ago; this would be that sort of roundtable. Basically, a panel of topical experts discuss a current issue in environmental affairs by means of a scenario. Each panel member is assigned a role to play as the scenario unfolds, but they do not know where the scenario will go or how it may resolve. They have to think on their feet, and draw on their own professional and personal knowledge to answer questions and play their part. The moderator (me) “runs” the scenario and keeps it moving.... more »

  Call for papers, ISA Annual Convention, 2014 Toronto Panel title: Critical environmental politics: theorising green spaces, states and science We are looking for one more paper on the above panel. This panel already comprises papers on Marxism and political ecology; Green Disciplinary Neoliberalism; Spatiality, International Relations and Complexity; and conceptualising green states.
