Hi All

Christophe would like to add names used during the French revolution.
The proposal is described in this forum thread :
http://forum.geonames.org/gforum/posts/list/529.page

There is no iso language code for this French variant and we are
proposing to use the code 'fr-1773' for this variant. This is not the
first time we are adding new codes to the system. We have already added
artificial codes for alternate names like 'post' for postal codes and
'icao' and 'iata' for airport codes.
This change requires an increase of the database column from 4
characters to 7 characters. We would like to change the column
definition with the dump of Friday 27 of July (~1 h GMT).

Cheers

Marc

It should read 'fr-1793'. Sorry for the typo.
