Inquiry re Geography Program Advisory Committee?

Hi colleagues, I am writing to hopefully connect with any of you on this list whose department has an external program advisory committee?  I am exploring the value of this idea for VIU and wonder who might have already done it, and whether you could possibly share your experiences with it.
