How to add safe markup in a template

Hi,
I have to add some invalid markup in a template. If I do so, Genshi
doesn't render it giving me a "TemplateSyntaxError: mismatched tag".
Is there a way to mark some markup as safe?

Embedding it in CDATA should help.

I solved it already without using invalid markup. Thanks anyway.
