Dear GenMAPP users,
In order to continue development and support of the GenMAPP
application, we rely heavily on grant support from the NIH. We are
right now in the process of preparing applications for additional
grant support for GenMAPP.
The next version of GenMAPP will integrate with major public gene and
pathway databases and will focus on gene expression data visualization
and analysis, including clustering, heat maps, histograms, and data
integration. It will also include enhanced visualization and analysis
capabilities for complex data, such as polymorphism, SNP and proteomic
data. Furthermore, we will include features for pre-processing of
large-scale data, which will enable biologists to seamlessly analyze
data from the latest generations of microarrays. The new
implementation of GenMAPP will be built utilizing the Cytoscape
program as the core, combining features from Cytoscape and GenMAPP in
a framework that is intuitive to biologists.
We are asking for letters of support to be included in our upcoming
grant application. Specifically, we would like to know how GenMAPP has
been beneficial to your work and how a more powerful and flexible
version of GenMAPP would be valuable to your future work.
Your letter will be invaluable for our grant application since it will
provide evidence of the extensive support of GenMAPP in the community.
We can also accept PDFs with signatures sent by email, or you can send
your letters to the address below.
Thank you,
GenMAPP team
