ELF 32 format to ELF 64 format

hello all,
this is gireesh here,

i have written some codes which are compatible for ELF 32 bit
format,now to make the code work for 64 bit format as well ,what are
the changes that are to be made.

With the observations i made,the major difference seems to be size of
ELF header and section headers,but somehow this alone doesn't seem to
do the trick.

any ideas or suggestions....

Suggestion: ask a question that has an answer.
Reposting the same vague observation on multiple
mailing lists doesn't seem productive.
