Subject: no such file to load -- mechanize
Quick question: once I have my gems installed in vendor/gems via
GemsOnRails, do I need to also have them installed (i.e., gem install
mechanize)?

If after I install the gems into vendor/gems I delete them or go to a
new machine and just check out from my repository do I need to install
them still?

From what I can tell I need them installed to run rake. I was hoping
that I wouldn't need to have them installed.

Example:

rake -T

rake aborted!
no such file to load -- mechanize
/myapp/Rakefile:11

In case it matters, I do have a custom rake task in lib/tasks that:

require mechanize
