Hi,
I just finished a patch that add subtitles support to GstPlayer.
This patch uses XBMC subtitles finder and DVDPlayer subtitles
parser/overlay to display it. I thought that way it would be easier to
integrate seamlessly with XBMC.

smbd not working in latest CuBox dev snapshot (20130503)

Hey, i just installed the currently latest version of the CuBox dev snapshots and tried to setup smbd. Installing with opkg worked, but starting smbd afterwards is futile: Manually starting (i.e. smbd -i or smbd -F) and starting with systemctl always results in prematurely exiting without any output.... more »

Problems playing recent DVDs

Hello, Most DVDs seem to play fine with the 'Play Disc' button from the main menu, but I've noticed that many DVDs of recent origin don't play at all, or sometimes only play an advertisement before the player dies and the main XBMC screen suddenly reappears. Hi, I tried to enable subtitles without any luck. As far as I can tell (by looking at the code), xbmc gstreamer decoder does not implement subtitles functionality. Is anybody working on making subtitles work with gstreamer-xbmc or should it work already? -- Juho

Wrong version of ducati firmware?

Hey, it looks to me that with the last few pushes, the ducati firmware
being grabbed is now out of date for the plugin/kernel.
This is as of yesterday around noon, when i last kicked off the build.
I did verify the kernel is reporting the firmware was loaded, iva was
started and respoinding to rpc/dce pings.... more »

(Note: I am not sure this is as minimal as it could be, i copied what
seemed to be the template for new packages)
I wouldn't worry too much about pegging to SVN trunk.

Fix syslink package unpacking vs building

Currently, the syslink package applies patches during build, instead
of unpack, causing issues if you ctrl-c it and rebuild it.
Fixed with the attached patch, which creates an unpack and moves patch
application there.
