Hi Guys,
I couldn't figure out anywhere from docs, so am asking here. Can the
successcallback of getCurrentPosition fire multiple times? As it
happens, it fires multiple times in my case.

I doubt it is dead.
Under code updates you can see that at least dozen updates were posted
in past week. Latest update was posted 10 hrs back.
Moreover two of google's popular apps gmail and wave use gears. They
will not let gears go down.

You know, I have to agree.
It all seems a bit like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand
is doing.
I know, it's been said before that Gears is just a hack, and HTML5 is
the way to go, but there doesn't seem to have been any concrete
announcement or roadmap on when that's happening with any of Google's

I'm wondering the same as the install page is not running the
installer and no message posted about why or how long the interruption
will be.

When will Gears be available for Mac OSX 10.6.x?

I'm sure there are many users who run Mac OSX 10.6.x "Snow Leopard"
who, like myself, would like to run Gears. Is there a target date for
release of an update that will run on this operating system? I'm
surprised that Gears can not even run with Google Chrome on Snow
Leopard! It seems like this would be a priority?

not authorized EXPRESSION: PRAGMA page_size = 4096 : at ..null..
while execution this code
execute("PRAGMA page_size = 4096 ");
please help me to solve this problem

clean cookies(and sometimes sessions), and reload browser

Gears shortcut on Android

The only thing I really want to work on gears is the desktop shortcut.
I have used it on windows mobile and my PC and it works just fine.
So I got me a new Android G1 and started to test gears and whaaa, The
shortcut does not work, It click add shortcut and nothing happens.
Is this right that the shortcut on Android devices do not work, or do

I so miss gears. I had it on my OSX 10.4. I went to download it on my
new MacBook 10.6.1 and no go!

Firstly I would like to thank the developers at Google for doing a
great job at Gears!
I would like to extend my interesting to you regarding the extended
support to the latest Mac software. I'm glad Gears is stepping into
the 'Mac' World, and has supported up to Mac OS X 10.5, with Safari
3.x Support!

Something similar is happening to me, the difference is I'm trying to
use google docs on google chrome.

I checked to see if the libraries were there. Apparently, I had both
libstdc++5 and libstdc++6 with 5 being required by win32codecs on my
ubuntu 9.10.
