I think the first step here would be first to say "thank you" for your
interest in what we're trying to do here, the second (and I think we
have a pretty good start here) is to get as many of the people who may
be interested in this on board as soon as possible. Next I think we
should discuss in detail, just what we would like this site to do/be
and come up with an appropriate name. GCWorship was suggested and I
think would be fitting. I was thinking GCSound, but that would limit
us to just people involved with sound. I agree it would be cool (and
less confusing) to have everyone under one roof, bands, sound techs,
etc. I know I'm repeating things that have already been discussed
somewhat, I just wanted to get everyone up to speed.
Thanks again everyone for your suggestions, keep them coming.

I'm not sure GCSound is too limiting. It actually has a cool ring too it. Sound can mean much more than sound systems, or even music :)
Worship, however, is too expansive for the topic of this blog, unless we start talking about things like prayer, reading, teaching, and service as well :)
I agree. I think we'd be better off keeping the forum limited. There
are thousands of resources devoted to the other things you mentioned.
GCSound does have a nice ring to it, I'd be interested to hear what
others think about it.

I am still learning how to use the computer. Ive never even heard of
google groups and until recently never sent an email. Anyway im
totally on board with GCSound. i am fairly new with running the sound
board and i am looking forward to learning so much from all of this.
