Subject: Consent before or after tasks?

Hello all,
I see it says in the rules that a student cannot claim a task until their
forms have been submitted. Is this correct? If I remember right, last year
we could do as many tasks as we liked but we could not receive prizes
without submitting a) our parental consent form and b) our
proof-of-schooling letter. Is this not the case?
And, I presume I cannot use the same letter from my school as last year, as
I may have left the school since?

My question is basically this: Can I choose a task and work on it, submit
my work, and move on to another task without having submitted my parental
consent form and proof of school enrollment or is that a must before I can
even begin my tasks?

Thankyou for your time.
-Jacob
