Google Code-in 2011-2012 Concludes

Hello Google Code-in Students,

Congratulations on your hard work in the Google Code-in contest!
Thank you all for participating in this year’s Google Code-in contest,
we hope you all had fun learning more about the world of open source
and enjoyed working with the 18 participating organizations. The
contest closed today, January 17th at 8:00 UTC. We are happy to
announce that there were 545 students who completed at least one task
in this year’s contest.

Submitting your signed forms to receive prizes
If you have not already submitted both your signed parental consent
form [0] and your proof of enrollment in a pre-university program
through the Google Code in site [1], please do so before February 7th
16:00 UTC in order to receive your prizes. If you do not submit the
appropriate forms by February 7th 160:00 UTC we will not be able to
send you any prizes.

For those students who submitted their signed parental consent forms
and appropriate proof of enrollment before the contest closed at 8:00
UTC today (January 17th), we will be reviewing your forms over the
next week and will contact you directly only if there are problems
with your forms. It will take at least 6 weeks for the packages with
your prizes to arrive at your homes and could take as long as 9 weeks.

Grand Prize Winners
We will announce the grand prize winners on February 14, 2012.

Thank you for all of your hard work completing tasks in the Google
Code-in contest. We hope you all continue to explore the world of
possibilities in open source.
