I on behalf of my Master wish to sincerely thank you for letting me
post the ad, and also to thank you for your comments. I am also
flattered that my ad generated such interest from you personally and
also from others. As a matter of courtesy, in this posting I hope I
did answer some but not all of the pertinent doubts voiced by you and
by others. Please understand that I shall reserve in-depth answers
to individual enquiries from interested people.
Well, nobody can deny the fact that Fengshui was a very sensitive
issue in China. It used to be that Fengshui practitioners had to
secretly hang on to their teachings and knowledge to escape the wrath
of the communist government. But many did preserve their lineage
teachings and when the Chinese government liberalized their policies,
these lineage holders came out in the open and revived what was
supposed to be lost.
The Government of China, now, although liberal towards fengshui
practices, is still very strict when it comes to recognition of
Fengshui "Tangs" or lineages. It will not allow anyone simply to
claim "lineage" ownership or simply to claim they practice under any
Yang Gong Lineage such as Yu Che Tang of Ganzhou to aviod the public
being cheated by the So-Called Fengshui Masters. Neither will the
many Tang (Associations, Societies) in China simply allow anyone to
claim to belong to their lineage. Yu Che Tang of Ganzhou is an
organization known and well respected by the Chinese Ganzhou
government, the Public as well as the Holy Birth Place of Yang Gong
Fengshui, the Yang Xian Ling and our Great Grand Master Li is the
appointed Senior advisor to the holy place of Yang Gong (Yang Jun
song), while my Master Prof. Dr. Yang is the appointed Overseas
Advisor and Representative to the Yang Xian Ling.
Therefore, we are not simply claiming to belong to Ganzhou Yu Che
Tang China. We actually belong to Ganzhou Yu Che Tang, but we are the
Malaysian Chapter authorised to recruit Students.
The Lineage of Yu Che Tang of Ganzhou, China has been carried down
for the last 300 years. The Grand Master Li (born 1922- ), who is in
his eighties now, is the present Lineage holder "Yu Che Tang".
The name "Yu Che Tang" was named after "Yu Che Jing" the classic
Fengshui Book authored by Great Grand Master Yang Jun Song (Yang Jiu
Pin).
Yang Jiu Pin, which means "Yang the Savior of the Poor" was his other
name, and was given by well wishers because Yang Jun Song always pity
the poor and helped them improve their lives with his Fengshui
expertise, for free.
Yang Jun Song had no descendants because he entered monkhood, and
developed his metaphysical prowess in the hills now called "Yang Xian
Ling". But he taught many students at that time, and his teachings
were preserved thru the ages. There was one very famous ancient
fengshui master who had practiced Yang Gong fengshui and his name is
now synonymous with fengshui ?his name was Lai Bu Yi.
Yang Jun Song wrote a total of three books only and they are : 1) Yu
Che Jing (the Jade Rule Book); 2) Tian yu Jing (The Heavenly Jade
manual); and 3) Qing Rang Ao Yu.
The Yu Che Tang was first set up by Great Grand Master Li San Su, who
was a famous Yang Gong Fengshui Master from Ganzhou, during the Qing
Dynasty, in the late 17 Century. He authored two fengshui manuals:
"Tian Ji Yi Guan" and "Hong Rang Jing".
The next lineage holder was the Great Master Li Ben Fang (1888 ?br> ?
980). Li Ben Fang was the paternal uncle of the present lineage
holder, Grand Master Li, and was also his Master (ShiFu). The
lineage passed on to our present Grand Master Li after the passing of
Great Grand Master Li Ben Fang.
Our present Grand Master Li carried on the lineage of Yu Che Tang
whose sole practice is Yang Gong Fengshui. Yang gong Fengshui has
another name in China ?It is called Hakka Yang Jiu Ping Fengshui.
Grand Master Li practiced Hakka Yang Jiu Ping Fengshui for more than
half of a century, during which he wrote many literatures -- articles
and manuals on fengshui:
a) Chinese Fengshui Development History; b) Jin Dynasty - Guo Pu
"Bury Book" Research; c) Tang Dynasty-Yang Jiu Ping -- Qing Rang Ao
Yu Research; d) Tang Dynasty-Ceng Wen Can Tian Yu Jing Xu
Research; e) Tang Dynasty-Yang Jiu Ping Tian Yu Jing Research; f)
Song Dynasty-Lai Wen Jun -- Cui Guan Pian -- Pai Hua Jie; g) Si Ku
Quan Shu Kan Yu Lei Jing Dian Research; h) Chinese Compass 49 Levels
Detailed Explanation, i) Chinese Compass 52 Levels Detailed
Explanation, j) Ganzhou Yang Jiu Ping Fengshui Studies; k) Ganzhou
Yang Jiu Ping Fengshui Teaching Materials; l) To Create Destiny
with a Auspicious Date and Chinese Calendar Calculation; and many
others Hakka Fengshui Literatures.
His only literature published and sold publicly in the early 90's
was: Chinese Compass 49 Levels Detailed Explanation. It has turned
out to be the Best Sellers for the last 20 years He rectified the
Mistakes made in the Ancient Fengshui Literatures authored by Cai
Yuan Ding of Song Dynasty and Wu Chen of Yuan Dynasty respectively.
He ridiculed the Tang Dynasty-Yang Jiu Ping "Qing Rang Ao Yu" as
well as the "Tang Dynasty-Yang Jiu Ping "Tian Yu Jing" as being
"contaminated copies" of the original, and he defined the mistakes
accordingly.
We, the Malaysian Chapter of Ganzhou Yang Gong Yu Che Tang are only
trying to teach and propagate authentic Yang Gong Fengshui as
practiced by Yu Che Tang disciples. We do not claim to be the best in
the world nor do we disparage other fengshui traditions. We are
looking for people who are interested to increase and widen their
knowledge in Fengshui and especially those who are willing to carry
on the tradition of Yu Che Tang in their respective countries.
