Why is it that sometimes the Fengshui Ju of Yin and Yang Zhai, after
auditing, adjustments and remedies applied, that are supposed to be
auspicious, does not work or still experience the same old problems?
This has been quite a nagging problem with many FS practitioners,
primarily those who were trained in the contemporary Bazhai and
Feixing schools in many countries.
The problem could most probably lie on the issue of Da Kong Wang &
Xiao Kong Wang (Void Lines). The so-called Da Kong Wang (Void line)
of Fengshui Pai’s other than those from Yang Gong and its offshoots,
refers to the lines between two mountains on the Di Pan. Many
consider this line between two mountains as Da Kong Wang or just Kong
Wang, and they do not recognize or have in their theory and practice,
Xiao Kong Wang.
Most Fengshui Pai’s would not use these so-called Kong Wang lines on
the Di Pan for Yang or Yin Zhai, for they too know that these are
inauspicious. And they would use it for Temples or Monasteries.
There are no Xiao Kong Wang theory or practice in other Fengshui
Pai’s
because they do not use the Ring of 72 Dragons.
In Yang Gong Fengshui, we have the theory and practice of Da Kong
Wang
and Xiao Kong Wang. Remember in my previous article, I mentioned
that
Yang Gong invented the 72 dragons?
Well within these 72 dragons are 60 Jia Zi Dragons and 12 Kong Wang
Dragons.
Da Kong Wang refers to the 12 Kong Wang Dragons while Xiao Kong Wang
refers to the lines between each 72 Dragons. The directional
accuracy
of these 72 dragons is 5 degrees – that makes 360 degrees. This 5
degree accuracy is much more accurate than the 15 degrees that many
other FengShui Pai’s use. And furthermore, to ‘hit’ a Xiao Kong Wang
line, you’d have to be less than 1 degree left or right of a line
separating any of the 72 dragons. The Centre 5 Degrees of the 8 Tian
Gan & 4 Guas (Xun, Kun, Qian, Gen) is Kong Wang Dragon known as Da
Kong Wang in Yang Gong Fengshui.
In the Tian Yu Jing it was stated, "Yang Gong Pan 360 Degrees, there
are 5 Elements in it,these 5 elements belong to Sheng Qi to
differentiate auspicious and inauspicious,as such each 15 Degrees
Shan
of 24 Shan in the Di Pan there are 3 Dragons to make up 72 Dragons.
Under the 72 Dragons, each Dragon has 5 Degrees to make up of 360
Degrees, representing the Earth to rotate against the Sun, there is a
Jia Zi for each day”.
The practical purpose of the 24 Shan Di Pan is to respond to the
Heaven and
Earth system of which originally the Di pan had only 12 Di Zi while
the original Tian pan had only the 8 Tian Gan and 4 Guas.
So, after Yang Gong invented the present Di Pan by combining the two,
the 8 Gan & 4 Gua still belong to the Heaven system while the 12 Di
Zi belong to the Earth system。So, the Earth is below the Heaven.
Thus
the 12 Di Zi has hidden Tian Gan -- meaning to say that the Di Zi has
included the Qi of Tian Gan. However the Tian is still above the
Earth. Therefore Tian Gan does not include Qi of the Earth.
The Qi of Tian is light, flowing above, and it can never go
underground。Dragon walks underground. But the 8 Gan and 4 Gua of
Tian
Qi does not have Dragon Qi which rides underground. That is how Kong
Wang Dragon comes about apart from the reason already given.
This is the reason and it’s a fact, that there is a good chance that
other Fengshui Pai’s when they assume auspiciousness in their audits
but the audit did not work. It could be the sitting and facing fell
within the Xiao Kong Wang and Kong Wang Dragons which are really
inauspicious Yin and Yang Zhai.
Why do these 12 Kong Wang Dragons have 5 Degrees like the other 60
Jia
Zi Dragons?
There are three reasons:
Firstly Yang Gong Fengshui rides Sheng Qi and Wang Qi -- as far as
the Di Pan is concerned, a Tian Gan or a Gua (Kun, Xun, Gen, Qian)
assiting two Di Zi -- hence the left Di Zi of Kong Wang Dragon is the
initial Qi, and the right Di Zi of Kong Wang Dragon is the finishing
Qi.
Secondly, the Element of Kong Wang Dragon is unclear for that reason,
they are not Wang Qi so it is inauspicious for any Yang Zhai or Yin
Zhai to sit or face!
Thirdly, the Qi of Tian is light, flowing above, and it can never go
underground。Dragon walks underground. But the 8 Gan and 4 Gua of
Tian
Qi does not have Dragon Qi which rides underground. That is how Kong
Wang Dragon comes about with 5 Degrees as well as other Jia Zi
Dragons
to make up 72 Dragons.
As researched and concluded by our Great Grand Master in China, there
were no Temples or any Yin Yang Zhai from Tang and Ming Dynasty
sitting or facing Da Kong Wang (Kong Wang Dragon), because those days
other Fengshui Pai’s did not have such a theory.
It was only during the Qing Dynasty that Jiang Da Hong took Yang
Gong’s Tian Yu Jing and Qing Rang Ao Yu and even Yu Che Jing (from
which he developed the Ping Sha Yu Che) and tried to decipher the
Kong
Wang theory and came out with a corrupted information theorizing that
the lines between each 24 Shan in the Di Pan as Kong Wang.
Here in Malaysia, we did our own research and found Temples that
follows Yang Gong Fengshui’s practice of facing and siting Xiao Kong
Wang. One example was the Ji Luo Shi Temple in Penang. The fact is
that after the time of Yang Gong in the Tang Dynasty, the practice of
siting Temples with sitting Xiao Kong Wang became prevalent, like
the
Ji Luo Shi Temple in Penang. They do not sit and face Da Kong Wang
(as in Di Pan Kong Wang) like what other Fengshui Pai’s do.
In conclusion, if you have any Yang or Yin Zhai becoming
inauspicious
but in every aspect have fulfilled the laws and theory of your
Fengshui Pai, the problems could have been caused by sitting Kong
Wang
Dragon or Xiao Kong Wang, which can only be found out by using the
Ring of 72 Dragons, and not from the Di Pan of 24 Shan.
