Subject: Rolled-up Task Issue
Hi,

I'm having an issue I was hoping someone could help with. I've set up
a project as below:

1 PROJECT
1.1 TASK 1
1.1.1 SUB TASK 1
1.1.1.1 Sub-sub task 1
1.1.1.2 Sub-sub task 2
1.1.2 SUB TASK 2
1.1.2.1 Sub-sub task 1
1.1.2.2 Sub-sub task 2

In this instance, TASK 1 will roll-up nicely and will also have the
timeline from the start of SUB TASK 1 to the end of SUB TASK 2. Happy
days.

Now, when I create TASK 2 (1.2) and begin to embed sub-tasks using the
blue arrow, the timeline for TASK 1 (governed by the sub-tasks)
reduces in duration for some reason. All its sub-tasks are unaffected
and show the correct durations but TASK 1 no longer correctly reflects
the timeframe it is to be completed in. It's as if it's un-linked
itself to its sub-tasks.

Any ideas?? Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply.

Unfortunately this is a known bug that has not been fixed.  Please
work around this by avoiding such a situation, for example, by having
a single task in between the two groups.

Thanks for the reply. If it makes sense, I'm glad it's a bug as I was
sure I was doing something wrong!
