Actually, i am looking forward to attending this GanetiCon but i have not enough
money for it, which i am just a senior student. Perhaps, i will join
the next year's
GanetiCon. I hope this GanetiCon would get a perfect result and good luck with

I am in China but Greece so it would cost some money(I cannot afford it) there.

I wish I could join, but those days are my 10th wedding anniversary and we're going to celebrate.
No way of attending it, even remotely, otherwise i got killed by my wife and relatives :))))))

I started coding for a ganeti-ha possible solution based on my experience of openstack HA i did in some engagements (i work also for canonical, the company behind ubuntu)

This is more a "placeholder/backup place" while coding, rather than a working implementation.

I acknowledge i am slow, but mr shuttleworth is making me traveling a lot.

just an idea: I've spoken to Sascha and some other admins using Ganeti and we like to meet us in Germany / Leipzig for a small GanetiCon.

If it is possibe I'd like to have some hangouts with the people in Athens at the GanetiCon.

Hopefully, it is possible to have some hangouts?!

If you can't afford a travel to Athens, and you'd like to talk to some other Ganeti Users and join the GanetiCon via Hangout together, feel free to join our Meeting in Leipzig.

For now the dates are fixed, and we should have more information on
the location in athens in the next couple of weeks.
Note that it will be more a "meetings/unconference" style gatherings,
rather than a venue with an explicit "talk" schedule.

While we can have *some* hangouts for specific parts, most of the
advantages of being in the same location will be the ability to
discuss freely over whiteboards, etc. As such I believe we can't
commit to "fully" share the gatherings online without losing that.
Perhaps next year we can organize it directly in Germany, though. :)
The best option would be for people to come to Athens, if they can.
(it shouldn't be "that" expensive, hopefully, at least from europe)

The conference is confirmed, in the dates mentioned above.
We have secured a location, and we'll soon be back with a website and a CFP.
Unfortunately we were delayed a bit due to various team member's
issues, but the most important information (city and dates) are
available, so that's a good start for anybody who'd like to come.
