Subject: 2 cdrom Support

If I read correctly, ganeti 2.5.0~rc5 is the first build to natively
support 2 cdrom drives, useful for loading VMs like Win Svr 2k8.
I have been unable to successfully install it to CentOS 6.2 however, using
ganeti-2.5.0.rc5-1.el6.noarch.rpm<http://jfut.integ.jp/linux/ganeti/noarch/ganeti-2.5.0.rc5-1.el6.noarc...>
.
That leaves me with no other option except using
ganeti-2.4.5-2.el6.noarch.rpm<http://jfut.integ.jp/linux/ganeti/noarch/ganeti-2.4.5-2.el6.noarch.rpm>
.
Can anyone help me add support for 2 cdroms to 2.4.5-2?

What has been the problem with running 2.5 ?
Backporting the "2 cdrom" patch would be possible, but you'd end up
running your own personalized version and probably wanting to migrate
later as well.

Regards,

Guido

hi!

2.4.5 has support for 2 cdrom images (cdrom_image_path and
cdrom2_image_path). at least my installation from the debian
repositories in squeeze does...

cheers,
Thomas
