Critical Security Updates

[gameotter]

A critical vulnerability was identified in some older versions of
gameotter programs. Gameotter strongly recommends deleting old
versions of the software and downloading the latest versions listed
below.

On XP or Vista, if you right-click over the program and choose
'Properties', you should see a "Digital Signatures" tab showing the
program was signed by GameOtter.com and properly timestamped.

If the "Digital Signatures" tab does not appear or if the program was
not signed by GameOtter.com, it is not safe. Delete the program and
download the latest version instead.

As a general rule, all programs downloaded from the internet need to
be properly signed by the publisher. Without a proper signature, the
bad guys can add viruses or malware to the program without you
knowing.

link to the current update. If your ISP caches content (e.g. AOL
Topspeed), the update may not immediately appear at the first link. In
