Serious problem with SPC playback
This also affects Audio Overload 2.0b7 and later. I have posted this problem on those forums as well. I have found a serious problem with the SPC playback, and this only affects one known game so far. The game is Shin Togenkyo, and the problem is already there when dumped. The problems range from the... more »

ID666/Extended ID666 Tag Editor for SPC
I would like to see if an ID666/Extended ID666 tag editor can be put in for SPC. This is because currently, I'm at a point where a tag editor would really help... I've been wondering about tagging SPC files, but they've all been foiled. I can do ID666 via HexEdit, but that's actually quite slow, and you can accidentally corrupt something... more »

Add SNSF Support
SNSF is a format that allows undumpable SPCs to actually play. I know where to get some SNSFs and test them... [link] You can get Wario's Woods, which is not on there, at [link] If anyone else wants to contribute, they can. You should update this anyways even if you don't use this, because I... more »

Intel version
GMB runs pretty awesome under Rosetta, but it still tends to skip sometimes. How hard do you think it would be to build on Intel? That's if I don't get bored and add Game_Music_Emu to Perian/ffmpeg. You could import them into iTunes! Sort of!

Will there ever be a Windows/PC version?
Sadly my Mac died and I'm having a hard time to get Macintosh emulators to run on my pc I like Game Music Box because the nsf and gbs files play in stereo and I can't find any windows programs that do that and the high quality uncompressed wav export feature. I loved that, I'm stuck on the pc for a while untill I can save up... more »

Hi I'm new to this group I love this software this my first day using it it'll be a whole lot better if the next release have .gsf and .usf support I'm stuck in the Mac OS 9.2 Classic I like this a little better than Audio Overload when it comes to .gbs files and the spc files play so clearly and smoothly I... more »

A bug report
There sure isn't much happening here. Anyway, the keyboard controls only work with the main window frontmost; they should also work with the sound scope frontmost.

Game Music Box 0.5.1b Available
This (hopefully) fixes all the major problems on multiprocessor machines. I added descriptions of each supported game music file format and what kind of emulation is used to play each back. This release also has an improved sound scope (lines instead of just dots), slightly faster gzip decompression using the latest zlib, and a few minor... more »

RAR Support, OS X Testing
I spent the last day cleaning up the really messy unrar sources into a small library with a clean interface for accessing RAR archives in memory. I've got a basic implementation working and will be cleaning up the model for release. I've also gotten an unzip library to add support for zip archives too. This makes it really convenient to play SPC sets... more »
