i presume yes. :)

well, i stopped working on it because i couldn't really connect to the
whole thing. but a talk about machine learning in general might be
possible, although i haven't been exposed to the more interesting parts
of that discipline yet, so it might be a bit dull...
anyways, at least the person who is responsible for the space where the
meeting takes place has to say something about availability before we
can move on. and some more opinions would be nice, too. :)
bye,
Sebastian

It's available.
Andrew.

well, it looks nobody seems to mind. alas, i don't have the energy to
put a talk together at the moment. i am not much of a presenter, anyway.
is there anybody else who wants to show something?
a mate from Berlin suggested to get something like PechaKucha,
http://www.pecha-kucha.org/, going. but i fear there are not enough
people in Galway for that...
on another note, we are trying to establish a beginner's group at the
Social Space. you are all invited to come to the first session on
Saturday 3/10, 3-5pm (during my regular shift) in the Social Space's
cafe, 24 Middle St. we are going to chat about installation and first
steps, probably a bit of shell scripting. bring your laptops and be
welcome to the Space Linux Users Group!
i'd rather have these groups combined, though. but another spacer had
the idea to establish SLUG and we certainly need people coming here and
leave donations. :)
cheers,
Sebastian

How did that go?
And does anyone have an alternative idea for tomorrow night's meeting?
Andrew.

not too good, tbh. it wasn't advertisted well, so there had been
Anthony, a guy called Gerald and me all waiting for vict^waspiring
users. Anthony and i tried to talk a woman into trying out Linux and she
said she might bring her laptop next saturday. i doubt it, though. :)
have a good one,
Sebastian
