Hi, all.

Sorry for the silence last month - I was out of circulation due to
rehearsals. Any ideas/suggestions for next week?

Just suggestions:

Could a subject be: how to optimise Linux for use on a netbook/laptop?
Stuff like:
- what are good settings to increase battery life
- options to get wireless working
- how to install from USB stick
- essential software
- where to get help if it doesn't work

I just bring this up as I just got hold of a Samsung NC20 (VIA Nano
processor) and never realised how tough it can be to get everything
working.
Someone could do an install step by step, touching on all the points?

Else: Karmic Koala is out but I don't find it different enough to
warrant a look at it.
