Theater J and Miriam's Kitchen Present
Stories from The Kitchen
Tuesday, June 26 at 7:30
Directed by Grace Overbeke and Becky Peters
Featuring Rick Foucheux, David Emerson Toney...and you!

Miriam's Kitchen is an amazing organization that provides meals, legal
counsel, arts education, and other resources for DC's homeless
population. Theater J and Miriam's Kitchen have been collaborating
since August of 2011 to bring theater to the guests of Miriam's
Kitchen, both by offering tickets to Theater J main stage shows, and
by bringing Theater J staff and artists to Miriam's for workshops.

Throughout the month of June, these workshops will focus on turning
your life story into a monologue. The workshops will culminate with a
staged reading of select completed monologues. If you are an actor
interested in volunteering his or her time to perform in the staged
reading, please contact Grace Overbeke at Gr...@theaterj.org, or
202-777-3230. The rehearsal schedule will be light, but the reading is
one night only, so conflicts on the evening of June 26 would be
prohibitive.
