ABOUT THE SHOW
The HBC team took to the streets interviewing young mothers of color fighting homelessness, addiction and incarceration. The result is a provocative stage play full of transparency, understanding and hope.
27 women were interviewed including a host of educators, social workers and community members. These interviews were used to create five central characters that tell their stories in a raw and beautiful way.
Stories collected and adapted by: Maryam F. Foye
