Hi all,

I have been previlaged to be part of Bronwyn Stuckey's workshop on QA
and what a ball I am having! It is my first venture into virtual
worlds (kids were kidnapped by WOW long ago) and this one is
specifically created for education, is save and caters for kids 7-14
(I think). We have been meeting Bronwyn every thursday from 3-4 for a
"virtual spin" and I am glad to report that I have earned my clothes
(I am now a sexy blonde) and my teachers pod.

I was very dissappointed to see how few teachers were able to make it
for the "training" workshop. QA is brilliant for most subjects (I
quite enjoyed the maths quest) Bronwyn is looking for "real life"
teachers and their students to pilot QA in South Africa. We are
meeting again next Thursday and for those of us who want to give it a
spin, I can ask Bron to create a guest account and will help you to
get up to speed before next Thursday.
