Dear Galeites. I have been reading some of the posts and news of members like DS and John M and many others and what to extend back the  warm feeling of all those years of sharing our moments and struggles with the passions we have for Gales. Thank you all. This is almost an iconic group now as it is mostly in storage like my 402s have been. I have been delaying doing the refoaming. It's the thought of the challenge rather than the work as I did reform my 401s some years back and have a few kits from the gale foam supplier. I also found a box of midrange speakers modern ones from the same manufacturer as earlier versions. Only a couple of them and some that need reforming. I will try and find a thread on removing the cloth and getting inside the cabinets.  All the best Simon

Glad people are still around! My Gales are still around also, but get less usage than they deserve - must look into it!
