Wanted to check if GAE 1.8 is supported?

latest 2.0 snapshots are build against 1.8.0 w/o any problems.

Thanks for replying. Is the latest 2.0 snapshot the current "master" branch on github? As I don't see any tags with that name.

It's indeed the master branch.

We're going to try to make a release this week for 2.0, actually.
Fingers crossed so all works as planned... (famous last words)

GAE now requires JDK 7, so you'd better use JDK 7.

Could you show a detailed stacktrace or give a bit more background on what you're doing?

There's the also note at the end of the post how to use the snapshots w/o gradle
