Commonsense tells us that most of the suns mass has nothing to do with
the fueling of the Corona,

It is unfortunate that for too long this unlikely story has be
allowed to take prominence in scientific discussions on the nature of
the Sun.

I agree with most of what has been suggested in your article however,
I would like to recommend that the source for not only the Suns
corona.,
but all energies revealed in our visible and measurable Universe....
emanate from the one source, the immutable Aether.

All our energies are extracted on demand from this invisible source.
All energies are transfered simultaneously, with no velocity,
therefore with 100% effciancy .

Because of their capture area, stars with the minimum size will be
perminatly interfaced
to the Aether, with their corona ensuring highly volatile magnetic
and plasma energies which in turn produce Electro Magnetic Energies.

Jupiter is a classical example of a body in space, with too little
capture area (size) to qualify as a Star.
