There was a bug earlier in the Google Analytics Javascript tracker,
where invocations of _setVar() resulted in extra pageviews,
invalidating the bounce rate and other stats.

In January, Google announced they'd fixed this bug (http://
analytics.blogspot.com/2009/01/using-setvar-heres-update-on-
bounce.html), but I'm unsure if it might still be in "GA for
Flash" (as the latest downloadble is from Dec 08)?

Could any of the devs please confirm if it's been fixed in the Flash
code too, or if I need to run my application in Bride mode or such to
solve it?

Thanks,

humm not sure about that

the JS code base and AS3 code base are different

so far I don't remember this bug for the AS3 version

Just saw this...yes it was a backed fix we did.

There was no client library impact.
