This is a great library, and I don't want to discount any of the great
features provided. Sometimes, though, the needs are much simpler and
don't require a library of a whopping 102K, which seems to add ~75K to
the release build of my SWF.
It would be incredibly awesome if there were versions of the SWC
available that provided subsets of the functionality. I'm not sure
where the bulk of the SWC comes from, but it seems like a version with
just an AS3 interface, that operates in "AS3" mode just for page
tracking, the overall footprint could be much smaller.
I've debated downloading the source and stripping it down to a
lightweight version, but haven't gotten around to it. Will post back
if I do...
